Our mission is to guide students and staff to be effective and ethical researchers and users of ideas and information. Our program promotes the love of reading and develops 21st century skills.

Learning Commons Book Collection Guidelines

FHSD Learning Commons have a broad selection of books, in print and online, available for checkout. You may see what we have to offer by clicking on the ‘Learning Commons’ tab on your school’s web page and then select ‘Find a Book’. Destiny, our library management system, will allow you to search the collection by entering specific book titles, authors, or subjects. You may see the E-book collection by clicking the ‘Follett Shelf’ tab, log in with your student’s login credentials:

You may then search the E-book collection by searching in the same manner. We hope you will find that Warren’s collection offers engaging choices that will foster a love of reading in your child. Q. What time does the library open and close?
A. The physical library is open 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Q. How long can I check out a book?
A. Students can check out a book for 2 weeks. Can't finish in 2 weeks?
Ask to renew your book. No Problem!
Q. Do you charge fines for overdue books?
A. No, but you have to pay for your book if you lose it, and you can't check out a new book until the book is either returned or paid for.
Q. Can I go to the library throughout the school day?
A. During school hours students need a pass from their classroom teacher to go to the library. Students are welcome to come to the library for quiet reading, studying or to work on a project.
Q. Is the School Library Catalog available at home?
A. Yes, a link is available on the home page of this website. You can search for materials, place holds, review books, or use the available databases.
